Banco Atlântico Europa, S.A. (ATLANTICO Europa or the Bank) is a community-owned bank with its head office in Lisbon, supervised and regulated by the Bank of Portugal and the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM).

Today, the Bank is physically present in Lisbon, Portugal, and Windhoek, Namibia, providing financial services to clients from more than 100 different countries.

Assuming a relationship banking position, supported by a differentiated digital platform, ATLANTICO Europa offers a range of financial products, from current accounts and cards to specialized solutions to support international trade and payment services. It reinforces this by promoting a differentiated service model, based on the quality and availability of contact and the agility with which it responds to the diverse and evolving needs of its customers.

ATLANTICO GO

ATLANTICO GO is ATLANTICO Europa's physical customer service area, available to customers who, at a given time, opt for face-to-face contact with the Bank. Located on Avenida da Liberdade in Lisbon, Portugal, it is based on a service model that combines technology with relational proximity, through a flexible, mobile and paperless service.

MY ATLANTICO

MY ATLANTICO is ATLANTICO Europa's internet and mobile banking platform and is the main channel for interaction between customers and the Bank, where they can manage their day-to-day finances and access their account whenever and wherever they want.

The main features available include day-to-day operations (national and international transfers, payments and top-ups, buying and selling currency, recurring transfers and direct debits), subscription to savings products, debit and credit card management and a range of innovative personal finance management features (spending analysis, budgets and real-time notifications).

Account Opening Process

The process of opening an account with ATLANTICO Europa is uncomplicated and fast. Opening an account through our MyAtlantico App is very simple and 100% digital.

Just follow these steps:

• Install the MyAtlantico App on your smartphone, available on IOS and Android;
• Choose the language in the top right-hand corner and select the "Open Account" option;
• Fill in your personal details and enter the code sent by SMS;
• Choose a PIN that will be needed when the account opening contract is signed at the end of the process;
• Upload an ID-quality photograph, as well as proof of address and proof of employment status;
• After uploading all the documents, it's time to validate your identity via video call. It is possible to make the video call when the customer is available by choosing the "As soon as possible" option, or to schedule it for when it is most convenient.

- Once your video call has been made and validated, you need to read and sign the contractual documentation.

- And that's it. Your ATLANTICO Europa account is open!

- As a final step, you will receive confirmation of your account access details and all the information you need to activate it.

The account opening process via video call is available for more than 15 countries, namely: South Africa; Germany; Angola; Australia; Austria; Belgium; Brazil; Canada; Denmark; Spain; United States; Finland; France; Netherlands; Ireland; Italy; Luxembourg; Norway; Poland; Portugal; United Kingdom and Sweden.

It is also possible, with the help of our team of specialists, to open an account for other countries without having to make a video call.
